The Harvard Club of Princeton congratulates Yuki Moore Laurenti ’79 and Jeffrey Laurenti ’71!!!

On Friday, October 15th, during the Cambridge Admissions Conference, Harvard announced this year’s Miller-Hunn Awards, honoring Hiram S. Hunn, A.B. 1921, and retired admissions officer Dwight D. Miller, Ed.M. ’71. Yuki and Jeff were among the eight alumni receiving this prestigious award in recognition for their volunteer efforts to recruit and interview prospective undergraduates.

Yuki and Jeff met through Harvard and were married in 1981. Both have been long-time New Jersey interviewers for Harvard. Jeff became Schools and Scholarships Committee Chair in 1975 and was instrumental in incorporating the Radcliffe alumnae network as the Harvard/Radcliffe admissions were unified. Yuki replaced Jeff as chair in 1985 when he became President of the Harvard Club of New Jersey. Yuki has also served as an HAA Director and was elected HAA President for 2005-2006.

Congratulations, Yuki and Jeff! Your club is very proud of you, and Harvard is a better place thanks to your ongoing efforts and roles as ambassadors for the school!
