The Harvard Club of New Jersey (our sister club to the north) has graciously invited members of the Harvard Club of Princeton to its 2014 Annual Dinner featuring Professor Michael B. Elroy as the guest speaker.

Professor Elroy, Harvard's Gilbert Butler Professor of Environmental Studies, studies changes in the composition of the atmosphere with an emphasis on the impact of those changes upon our climate and, ultimately, human activity.
His research places the impact upon human activity in a larger context by studying large-scale changes in the environment that occurred in the past.

Professor Elroy's work also addresses challenges for public policy posed by the rapid pace of industrialization in developing countries such as China and India while exploring alternative strategies for more sustainable development in mature economies such as the United States.
