ARTHUR BROOKS is the William Henry Bloomberg Professor of the Practice of Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and Professor of Management Practice at the Harvard Business School.  Professor Brooks is the author of the "How to Build a Life" column for The Atlantic, and he also hosts a new podcast series on all things happiness, "How to Build a Happy Life".  Professor Brooks is currently writing a book entitled "From Strength to Strength: Finding Success, Happiness and Deep Purpose in the Second Half of Life". Professor Brooks relates the study of happiness to the social science purpose of lifting the country up and making the country better off.  He writes about the relationship between leadership and the goal of bringing more happiness to other people.  His upcoming book focuses on helping people in their 40's and 50's find success and happiness so that their 60's, 70's and 80's are a time of flourishing and satisfaction.
