The Grounds for Sculpture
is a unique thirty-five acre park/outdoor museum dedicated to promoting an understanding of and appreciation for contemporary sculpture.

The venue was founded in 1992 by John Seward Johnson II and currently has over two hundred forty large-scale contemporary sculptures on display created by renowned and emerging American and international artists.  The park's outdoor collection typically grows by fifteen sculptures annually.  Outdoor works are selected to augment indoor exhibitions, add new artists to the sculpture park, and complement the landscaped environment.  You can learn more about this organization at www.groundsforsculpture.org.

Participants will meet just inside the entrance to the Grounds for Sculpture on Saturday, April 13th at 11:00AM and enjoy a tour led by one of the museum's docents.  This tour will last approximately ninety minutes.  Afterwards, participants have the option to enjoy a leisurely lunch with fellow Harvard alumni at the cafe located on the property beginning at approximately 1:00PM.
